How many guests can Gracehall accommodate for weddings?

Minimum guest number: No minimum
Maximum guest number: 170 seated

How many guests can Gracehall accommodate for concerts and corporate events?

Gracehall can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Do you have recommended caterers?

Yes indeed! At Gracehall, we have a recommended caterer list. Generally, you will work directly with your chosen caterer who will arrange a bespoke menu to suit you and your guests. 

Are catering costs included in the venue hire fee?

Catering costs are not included in your venue hire fee. Your chosen caterer will provide you with a quote for the day.

How long does the drink’s reception take?

Somewhere between 2 to 2.5 hours of socialising and connecting with your guests before being invited inside for the main dinner.

What time are guests usually invited for dinner?

This can depend on the number of guests, but usually, somewhere between 4.30 PM – 5.30 PM.

When do we have our speeches?

Speeches usually take place before the meal. However, we like to leave this up to the couple.

Is there a bar service at Gracehall?

Yes indeed, there is a full bar service for the duration of your day.

Can I bring my own wine?

You are welcome to bring in your own champagne or prosecco for your arrival reception, however, this will be limited. Wine is also permitted for serving during dinner (only). All drinks brought in by clients are subject to a service charge.

Alternatively, the bar provider will supply a drinks list. Please enquire for further information. 

Can I request an alternative arrival drinks reception?

Absolutely!
Our bar provider will be happy to discuss this with you.

Are there non-alcoholic drinks available?

Soft drinks, mocktails, non-alcoholic punch and Zero beer are available!

What time does the bar stay open until?

The last orders will be at 12:45 am!

What time can music play until?

In accordance with our entertainment licencing, LIVE music can play until 11 pm every night and then your DJ or pre-recorded music can play until 1 am.

Do you have a PA system?

At Gracehall we have an in-house sound system which can also be used for speeches (wireless microphone provided). If you require further information regarding this, please contact your wedding coordinator.

We also offer an AUX connection port for soft background music using your own device (offline playlist).

Are fireworks allowed?

Fireworks are permitted at any time throughout the year. They must be pre-approved by Gracehall and carried out by professional Pyrotechnic companies in accordance with NI law.

Do you have car parking?

Yes, we have parking onsite available at the Gracehall. Cars may be left on site overnight but at the owner's risk.

Is there bus access?

Yes, bus access is available.

Are there taxis readily available?

Yes indeed. Although these will need to be pre-booked.

When I place a provisional booking, how much time do I have before I am expected to confirm the booking (with a deposit)?

We will hold your date for 6 weeks until you make your final decision, or if we receive another enquiry for the same date, in which case we will contact you first.

What is the deposit required?

We require a booking fee of £750 to hold your date. This will then be deducted from your wedding venue hire cost. Booking fees are non-refundable.

Payment:

We require full payment within 14 days of your event date.

Do you have onsite accommodation?

Yes, we do have onsite accommodation. 10 double en-suite rooms. Bed and Breakfast with a maximum of two guests per room.
Contact your wedding coordinator for options and rates.

Can children stay?

Unfortunately, we do not offer family rooms, please enquire for more info.

Is there further accommodation close to the Gracehall for guests?

Yes indeed! There are many small hotels, B&Bs, and Self–Catering apartments nearly. Please check Airbnb for the latest and most up-to-date info on additional accommodation on your wedding day.

When can I come to Gracehall to get set up for my wedding?

Our aim for set-up is to be as accommodating as we possibly can on the run-up to your wedding. You are welcome to drop items off at Gracehall prior to the big day.

You are also welcome to set up the day before the wedding, between 12 pm - 4 pm.

Am I required to book all guest rooms?

Not at all, how many rooms you would like to book is completely up to you.

Does Gracehall offer packages?

While we don’t offer packages, we will help tailor and personalise your event.

Do I have exclusive use of Gracehall?

Yes, you have exclusive use for you and your guests.

Can we get married on-site at Gracehall?

Yes, you are most welcome to have your ceremony at Gracehall.

What do I need to do to get married at Gracehall?

For a civil ceremony, we would recommend you first check the availability of the registrar for your chosen date. Each couple must apply directly to ABC Council Registration Office, we will then provide the necessary documents to return to the council.

For religious ceremonies, you can very welcome to bring your own minister.

For Humanist ceremonies, ensure that your Humanist celebrant has requested permission to carry out your wedding on the specified date.

Notice of Marriage applications should be completed and signed by your Humanist celebrant.
Please note, that it is required that you make an appointment to submit your Notice of Marriage Application to the Registry Office of ABC council.


Is there a fee at Gracehall for onsite ceremonies
?

There is a ceremony setup fee of £350.

Can I use real candles?

Real candles can be used in candelabras during dinner service or within fully enclosed lanterns. These will be removed after dinner. LED candles are a highly recommended option.


Can we use a drone?

No drones are allowed.


Can I come to Gracehall just for photos?

Sure! Depending on availability. Contact us for more info.

Can I use sparklers?

Yes indeed, under the full supervision of an appointed person, and guidance can be provided by Gracehall. Contact us for more info.

Can I use confetti and colour cannons?

Dried rose flower petals can be used (outside only) for photos.
Glitter, confetti, table sprinklers and colour cannons are not permitted inside or out.

Can I bring evening guests?

Absolutely! Note that guest numbers are not to exceed 200 onsite (day guests + evening guests = total on-site).

Can I view Gracehall as a potential venue?
